In each volume of this little comic or zine (short for "magazine"), meet six of the regulars around my urban neighborhood who continue to greet, delight, and amaze me each day. On the back, learn how you can become an urban birder yourself and appreciate the fascinating world of the seemingly "regular" or "mundane."
Volume 1 features house sparrows, a mourning dove, the misunderstood pigeon, European starlings, Northern mockingbirds, and the white-breasted nuthatch.
In Volume 2, meet downy woodpeckers, a Northern cardinal, song sparrows, the American goldfinch, the tufted titmouse, and the MA state bird, the adorable black-capped chickadee.
